The Discover Scuba Diving program is perfect for begginers, it will take place directly from the beach, so you don’t have to worry about getting on and off a boat, getting seasick or your hat flying off!

When you arrive at the beach, the PADI instructor will give you a short briefing on what you will be doing, you will learn about how the equipment works and explain some basic skills before entering the water.

DIVE
The Discover Scuba Diving program will take place directly from the beach, which means you don’t have to worry about getting on and off a boat, getting seasick or your hat flying off!

Transportation
If you don't have the means to move, and you are staying in the north area of Mallorca (Puerto Pollensa, Alcudia..) don't worry! We will pick you up, take you to the diving spot and take you back to your accomodation.
Please contact us to check if we have availability and if we cover your area of accomodation.
Capture your experience

Juan has been diving for more than 20 years, what started as a hobby quickly became his passion, after his first dive he knew he wanted to dedicate himself to diving as a professional career. He has worked in Isla Margarita (Venezuela), the Canary Islands and Mallorca (Balearic Islands, Spain).

FAQ
Bring a towel, dry clothes and a swimsuit and lots of desire — we'll provide the rest!
The minimum age is 8 years old. There is no maximum age to dive, as long as everything is ok in the medical declaration your age will never be a problem.
Once the service or the practical part of the course begins, it is non-refundable. If the activity is cancelled by the client with less than 7 natural days for Discover Scuba Diving and 15 natural days for PADI Courses, of anticipation, the deposit is non refundable. The only exception is if adverse weather conditions prevent the completion of the activity or course, and we are unable to reschedule it during your stay on the island. In this case, a deposit refund or proportional refund for the remaining portion of the course will be issued.
Yes, you need to have basic swimming skills and be comfortable in the water as it will directly affect the enjoyment of the experience.
No problem at all!
We work with reduced groups, so the maximum we would join would be 1 more person (if any), so it is possible that the instructor, would only be with you.

As long as it is done responsibly, diving is perfectly safe, your PADI instructor will ensure that all safety standards are met and that you are comfortable and safe with the equipment at all times.
You can fly before diving without any problem.
After diving, it is not recommended to fly immediately, and you should wait from 12h to 24h.
Barracuda Diving is located in the north of Mallorca and we can cover Pollensa, Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia areas (not Puerto Alcudia, Muro and Can Picafort). Please always check with us if we cover your location and if we have availability for the transportation service.
